The Threefold Law is the law that whatever spells you use for your own intent always come back three times worse, or in threefold.

Threefold Law

The Threefold Law is a spiritual belief system based around the observations of the Cosmos and the reverence of Mother Nature. The Threefold Law is intimately tied to the metaphysical energies of the Universe and the idea that all things (i.e. animals, humans, plants, etc.) are all considered sacred, as they are all different aspects of Nature that are all interconnected. Contemporary witches would also agree that using ancient ceremonies, rituals and shamanic practices is the best way to attune themselves with the natural rhythms of the Universe in their efforts to obtain guidance and knowledge from Higher Powers. According to a rather intelligent witch named Lirio, the Threefold Law was created by the Old Gods as a means to ensure that the Natural Order remains balanced, informing Sarah Bailey that "Life keeps a balance all on its own". The known users of witchcraft are witches who can perform magic as well. An example of this was when Nancy tried to kill Sarah and using Manon's powers for bad, Nancy ended up being institutionalized being seen as crazy. This happended to Rochelle and Bonnie as well when Sarah used a glamour to give Rochelle baldness after what happen to Laura Lizzie and Bonnie burn marks all over her face after curing her scars.
